Barrataria Island is a truly unique coastal community, surrounded on three sides by water and featuring waterfront views from all 38 properties. The neighborhood is bordered by publicly owned parks and preserves, ensuring long-term protection of both access and vistas, with no additional development encroaching on the area.

Our community is close-knit, with neighbors looking out for one another’s safety and well-being. Homeowners take pride in maintaining their properties, and association fees are intentionally kept low thanks to residents who actively contribute to the upkeep of shared spaces.

Amenities include a tennis and pickleball court, exceptional fishing, water sports, and convenient beach access just across State Road A1A. Independence Day is our biggest annual celebration, complemented by numerous gatherings throughout the year where neighbors, friends, and families come together. Our fireworks display is known to rival those of nearby cities!
